Q. My company does not allow payment by credit card. Can you
mail us an invoice every month so we can pay by cheque? Q. Do you offer discounts? Q. How can I get information about the amount billed to my credit card? Q. Do I need to install anything? A. No. URLmonitor does not run on your computer. All administration of your URLmonitor account is done through your Internet browser. You do not install any additional software on your desktop or laptop. Q. Can I assign a different notification email address to each website that I want monitored? A. Yes. You can assign a different email address for each website. We strongly recommend to use email addresses that are not related with any of the websites you are monitoring. Otherwise, when your website is out of order your notification can be lost or delayed, until the failure is passed. Better still use SMS. Q: How do general Internet problems affect the service A: As the Internet is built up of many networks, operated by different parties, the network conditions may affect the tests that URLMonitor performs. That's why, in case a problem is detected, at least one additional test is performed from another location in the world-wide network. Q. Could multiple notification addresses be used? A. Yes, you can have multiple notification addresses. For every
monitored site you can enter a comma-separated list of email addresses. Q: I received an alert but my site is fine. A: Ensure your not viewing the cache of your site, For Internet Explorer click refresh in the browser. By default Internet Explorer will not let you have cache under 1Mb. Q.
